The exhibition has attracted over 145 local artists and includes more than 260 pieces of unique works in a wide variety of media – everything from paintings and photography, to sculpture and textiles.

One of the highlights of the Centre’s busy exhibition programme, the show is open to all local artists and gives visitors to the gallery the opportunity to see the wealth of creative talent in the islands under the one roof.

All works on display are for sale, giving everyone who comes along the chance to buy an original piece of art by a local artist. This year it is even easier to make a purchase as the Pier Arts Centre is, for the first time, participating in the Own Art Scheme.

Own Art is a scheme that allows people to apply for an interest free loan* of between £100 and £2000 for the purchase of original works of art or craft in any media.
