A musical collaboration between composer, Gemma McGregor, and sound artist, Amy Beeston, culminating in two performances of their music that includes recordings, improvisation and a new trio for flute, violin and piano.
The material is based on reports of new appreciation for sounds during lockdown and includes anecdotes from the Kirkwall Women's Book Club. The performance takes George Mackay Brown's poem, St Magnus Day 1992, as the foundation for this collage event.
