Wave Form is a multidisciplinary event with live music. The Experimental Music Project host an investigation of waves through various media including sculpture and video by Anne Bevan and Mark Jenkins, music by Gemma McGregor and a description of waves and wave energy by International Centre for Island Technology marine scientist, Michael Bell. The performance will include live improvisation in response to the images and there will be an opportunity for discussion.

This is the second in a bi-monthly series of events planned and led by Gemma McGregor, who has initiated the Experimental Music Project to broaden audiences for contemporary music. For the first event she brought together a small ensemble of musicians to perform a piece she had composed, inspired by Sylvia Wishart's painting 'Reflections' from the Pier Arts Centre collection.
