In 2022 Victoria Crowe made two trips to Orkney as part of her Royal Scottish Academy Residencies for Scotland award, hosted by the Pier Arts Centre and based at Linkshouse – Orkney Arts Residency in Birsay.

The resulting exhibition, Touching the Surface—the Orkney Paintings will be at the Pier Arts Centre on display 31 August-9 November 2024, and will showcase some of the work Crowe made during her residency, as well as works created in response to her time spent in Orkney.

Orkney Arts Society and the Pier Arts Centre will host two talks by Victoria Crowe, Saturday 31 August 6:30pm and Sunday 1 September 4:30pm. Tickets are available on the Orkney Arts Society Website >
