Karen Wallis is currently Artist in Residence on the Ness of Brodgar dig in Orkney's World Heritage Site. The artist uses sketchbook drawing as the starting point for developing art works in various forms.
At the Ness, practical work is focused on human activity; both the archaeologists' work in the present and the traces of human activity in the past.
Karen's talk will present work in progress at the Ness of Brodgar and its relation to her ongoing art practice.
Admission is free and no booking is required.
