This Piergroup session, we are going to be focusing on artist sketchbooks and how sketchbooks can be used as a tool to look, sketch and develop ideas. If you have your own sketchbook, please bring it with you.

We will also be joined by Orcadian artist photographer Sarah Wylie to look at our current exhibitions which you can see a little bit about here: Victoria Crowe and Sarah Wylie.

Getting to the Pier Arts Centre:
You can catch the X1 bus from the Kirkwall Travel Centre (Stand 2) @18.56

Get off at Stromness Ferry Terminal, and walk to the gallery (2 mins)

The X1 bus back to Kirkwall leaves Stromness Ferry Termiinal @21.00 - we will always finish the session in time for you to catch this bus (if anyone needs to leave earlier, that won't ever be a problem. Please just ask!)
