As part of the Festival of Museums 2016 programme, there will be an out-of-hours tour of the Pier Arts Centre Collection in the ‘grimlings’, (Orkney dialect for twilight). Led by Lauren Henning, Gallery Programmes Trainee, the tour will have a particular focus on works that involve light, either as a quality in the depiction of landscape, as an inspiration or as material and tool in the work’s creation. Admission is free and no booking is required.
